Sammy and I got a little bored of our regular warm-up routine, so we decided to get a little creative… Check it out!
Last weekend I competed at the 2013 Elite Canada competition in Quebec. It was my first competition back after the 2012 Olympics and my leg surgery. I have made a full recovery and have been training for about a month. The competition was a success and I ended up in first place thanks to this final routine. So happy to be back at the gym. Enjoy.
Soo… We had our friend Ayano and some of her team mates visit us from Japan. Ayano is a pretty amazing trampolinist and competed at the 2012 Olympics, but she had yet to experience the Skyriders Party Bungee!! Check out the video and see Ayano and Sam Sendel hang on for dear life…
This is a video of a trampoline show we did for TD Canada Trust. It features Rosie MacLennan, Karen Cockburn, and myself showing off some Olympic level trampoline skills, and Phil Barbaro on skis and snowboard. Soaring Heights Productions always puts on a great show so check it out!
Here’s a little something I’ll be working on this year. I’m on a bit of a break until February/March as I recover from a minor leg surgery, but I can’t wait to get back to the gym. Many athletes have been introducing rudi out trif pike into their routines (DD 2.2) and I think quadrifus pike (DD 2.7) will help me keep ahead of the competition. Can’t wait to start jumping again!
The Canadian Olympic Committee hosted a Partner Workshop a few weeks ago. It was a great time and included flash dancers, and trampoline performances by Olympic gold medalist Rosie MacLennan and Canadian freestyle skier Oli Rochon. I wanted to get up there myself but I didn’t want to ruin my dress clothes. That didn’t stop Canadian beach volley ball player Martin Reader though. Check it out…
