For Canada’s athletes, “it’s pure excitement” with only 100 days to go before the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Opening ceremonies will kick things off on Friday, July 27th.

On Wednesday, the Canadian Olympic Committee celebrated the 100-day mark along with three trampoline gymnasts who are hoping to take home the gold.

Jason Burnett, a trampolinist who won a silver at the 2008 Games, says training is intense right now.

“Life is very busy right now with the amount of training,” Burnett says. “We’re in the gym nine times a week. So we’ve got double and triple training pretty much five days a week.”
